davidpoole18Dragon College is headed and managed by Dr David Poole, one of Australia’s leading business educators.  For almost two decades, David has been creating and delivering  outstanding business and management learning programs in Australia, China, Vietnam, and the United States.

As co-author of one of the Asia-Pacific’s most popular management textbooks, as a business executive and as owner of his own retail business, he has gathered the knowledge and experience to create great learning experiences for Dragon’s students.

In Australia he has taught at Macquarie University, the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, the University of Western Sydney, Insearch Institute of Commerce at UTS, La Trobe University, and the former Sydney and Australian Graduate Schools of Management.

He has spent a semester living In the United States while serving as Visiting Professor of Management at Utah State University.

In China, David has taught several times on MBA programs in Guangzhou, in a University of Wales program in Henan Province, and in an undergraduate program at the City University of Hong Kong.

In Vietnam, he has twice taught in the MBA programs of Hanoi University, and he has served on the faculty of the global online management programs offered by Universitas21 based in Singapore.

David has also stepped out of higher education to work in the business world. Between 2004 and 2006, he was CEO of a major industry association in the property development sector, and between 2007 and 2009 he owned a successful bookstore in North Sydney. During this time he continued to teach, continued to learn, and achieved some outstanding outcomes along the way. For instance, his bookstore was recognised as the best performer in Australia during the Christmas 2008 trading period and he won the exclusive rights to merchandise the Donald Trump tour of Australia during the same year.
