In response to a growing need within organisations for personal and executive assistants who are able to effectively manage themselves and who also possess the ability to understand their role, and that of those they assist, in terms of the wider organisational context and environment, Dragon College of Business has launched the Diploma of Management (Personal Assistant) program.
Dragon CEO Dr David Poole today announced that the college would soon offer a new Diploma of Human Resource Management. Adding the Diploma of Human Resource Management, also known by the national code BSB50607, makes a great deal of sense. while the diploma will be offered using Australia’s best distance learning (correspondence) learning materials, it will also be available as an in-house qualification for trainees and workplace learners.
The response to The Dragon’s recent price-cut promotion has been tremendous, however course prices need to rise from 11 March. Enrol now to beat the price rise.
One of the wonderful things about our programs, and indeed many other vocational training programs in Australia, is that they represent examples of action learning, or “learning by doing”.
Building on the success of its existing courses, the Diploma of Management, Diploma of Business, and Diploma of Business Administration, Dragon College of Business will soon launch 5 new courses.
First, if you are thinking of doing further studies down the track, such as a bachelor’s degree, you will receive up to a year’s advanced standing in your degree and save up to $8,000 in course fees by doing a less-expensive but still rigorous and accredited diploma in management or business. Many students are finding that this is a “no brainer”. The University of New England, for instance, offers one full-time year of advanced standing in its business and management degrees for our Diploma of Management and Diploma of Business programs.
While I recently blogged about the attractiveness of Dragon College of Business for school-leavers, it is interesting to observe that the majority of Dragon’s learners are 30 and 40-somethings looking to add an edge to their career.
If you are considering enrolling in a TAFE Diploma of Management this year, think about whether the Dragon Diploma of Management might better suit you. For one thing, you won’t have to attend compulsory classes. Instead, you will use the award-winning learning materials created by Dr David Poole to complete your studies at your own pace and in whatever location you’d like to complete them.
While only launched just prior to Christmas, Dragon College of Business has already enrolled new learners in its programs. According to founder and CEO, Dr David Poole, this is a great start for “the Dragon”.
