Dr David Poole presents the units within our course with such enthusiasm and eagerness that in our training room environment he succeeds in engaging all learners to participate in all discussions. His energy and knowledge of the content of all of the course and of local government greatly assists when delivering the various units. Usually one dreads attending training sessions as they can be extremely boring but not with Dr Poole, and with his laid back approach and quirky nature you can end up in tears from laughing so much. Dr Poole is always willing to lend a hand and provide assistance when undertaking the activities associated with each unit and is readily available to answer your questions or provide suggestions. I have learnt a great deal from undertaking this course and have certainly gained an insight into how I can best manage certain situations. Thanks heaps, Dr Poole! Also, the chocolate he provides is a fantastic incentive to do the course!
